Even if the oppressed are bad people, I will stand for their justice. After providing them justice, I will then become against them for the matter for which they did wrongs. And then I will solve that case. After all, I am a very good judge of human behaviour and a very great lawyer with much presence of mind.

I find it hard to believe that 37.3 millions Ukrainians are neo nazis. The war perpetrated by Russia against Ukraine is inflicting pain and destruction in the whole population. No excuse, Russia is the bad guy here and a war in 2022 is unacceptable.

I agree with you, there is no chance there aren't some very bad Ukrainians, but no one claimed the oppressed can do no wrong, he just made that up so he could create a chance to cast more aspersions on the Ukrainians in an effort to make Russia look less bad. The goal is to have you think "there could be nazis in Ukraine" instead of "I just watched a video of a woman with her head half gone still clutching her dead child while people flee all around her", or "that grandmother with her legs blown off was surely not a combatant", etc.

Lots of " what-if's" being used to try to white-wash Russia's illegal murdering of innocent civilians, so I'd like to add my what-if to all the previous (I'm sure there will be more)...
What if my aunty had balls?
Then she would be my uncle and might try to kill me and take over power so that totally justifies me in wiping out not only her, but all her neighbours as well.
And their chickens.

Independent countries are not allowed to choose to join NATO's defensive alliance because it makes it too hard for Russia to invade them ?

did the US allow independent Cuba to accept nuclear weapons and join the USSR defensive alliance because it made it too hard to invade Cuba? no it did not. NATO and the US agreed that NATO would not expand eastward beyond the borders of Germany. instead almost immediately NATO began doing just that, and experts and even Presidents (Obama) have long recognized that continuing to do so would risk provoking a world war. instead, the same foolish policy was pursued, resulting in Russia's invasion of Georgia in 2008 and now, the invasion of Ukraine. Would the US accept wmds in Canada or Mexico if those countries entered into an alliance with Russia. nope. see the Monroe Doctrine, see the numerous invasions of countries which have government the US does not like or that stand in their way.

the Ukrainian nazis have influence on the Ukrainian government far beyond their numbers. probably because they are an effective fighting force. that is one reason Russia invaded.

A few reminders:
Ukraine has not joined NATO
Ukraine is a sovereign state
Ukraine does not have WMDs
The U.S. never launched a full-scale invasion of Cuba
The Cuban Missile Crisis was 60 years ago
NATO does not have mind-control powers that magically force people to join
