No it's not the king's Indian in white. I myself also play the catalan but I wouldn't say that it's the strongest.

I think you are talking about the King's Indian Reverse ( as in my words ) because I can't remember the name :O
It's also quite good but I'd still say that the Queen's Gambit is stronger.

Umm... In the Catalan there are some traps but the main advantage is that if black takes the c pawn , they're giving up a center pawn (d) for our flank pawn (c).
