Is using fingers on touch screens forbidden in blitz?

i haven’t seen anything on this topic as i suspect this is one of those grey areas until specifically approved of or not by the moderators on Lichess. So let’s have at it shall we? Can players use their fingers on touch screens to make their moves during blitz games? Is there an unfair advantage to using your fingers over using a mouse to drag and drop pieces on a touch screen?
How else do you propose that players make their moves on touch screens? Smartphones are pretty popular nowadays.
Are you saying that chess should be forbidden on smartphones?
I feel calculating is easier on a pc for me as I can draw arrows. Touchscreens do not offer arrow facilities so calculating variations is sometimes a bit cumbersome but again to get used OTB chess, calculation without arrows have to be mastered.

Not being able to use your hands while playing online would be the death of online chess. Anyone with a few minutes to spare can enjoy a chess game sitting on a bus stop or in car ride these days. That's great!!

The arrows are a different matter, maybe it shouldn't be allowed in actual games?
You don't get to draw arrows playing live chess with the board in front of you. I feel it's close to using extra help

Just my thoughts. I didn't even know you can draw arrows while playing!!? It certainly feels like extra help, like #6 said.
Playing on a touch screen is generally a big disadvantage to playing with a mouse.
As a smartphone player I do hope that my bare fingers are faster than a mouse. Doubt it though.

It's true that since humans have more than one finger, there are certain cases where a smartphone player can be faster using Click-and-Click move input. But you will be slower on Drag-and-Drop input (or find yourself unable to use that entirely).

For example, with a smartphone you can hardly "hover over" a square while the opponent is thinking, since your thick thumb will block most of the screen.
I don't necessarily agree with using arrows while playing (though I don't mind it personally), but drawing arrows is super useful for streamers and the viewers.. I think there's more to lose than to gain from removing the use arrows during a game
By practicing with a touchscreen for the past 5000 games, I have successfully moved my rating downward by 100 points.

It takes effort, but it's worth it.
