I think arrows are important for streamers, some streamers are using arrows to help people who are watching them to understand what's going on.

Well, arrows are not that bad. Most online chess platforms have one. Plus anyone can grab wipable sharpies and draw arrows on screen with higher time control. Will sharpies become bannable offences then?

Compared to my phone's touch screen, I'm objectively faster at Lichess Coordinates using my mouse (Zowie EC1-A at 400 dpi on a 1080p display, no mouse acceleration) and this is how I most prefer to play any time control. I never draw arrows during a game because I find them more confusing than pure calculation (using coordinates).

I average 48 with both colours using the mouse, but at most 40-45 when using a touch screen. I suspect it ultimately depends on what one is used to. Keep in mind that good first person shooters are all mouse-driven.
