Do you respect people with lower ELo?

I guess it's same like in a real life. Some people respect others some don't. Personally I follow the rule of treating others the way you wanted to be treated by them. By the way, I have talked to many masters on the question if anyone can become a titled player. Igor Kovalenko told me that anyone can make 2500 fide rating at home (!), with a lot of hard work, motivation and proper books. Some other IM's told me that IM title can be achieved by anyone. Those guys are not smarter or more intelligent than other people, they just worked really hard in the right direction for a lot of time. The problem that I found when coaching any level player is motivation. Eventually people give up when they are stuck for let's say half a year on the same level. Even Bobby Fischer said, that anyone can be a good chess player.
The opportunity cost of becoming a professional chess player is steep and the probability of becoming a top-player is low. Decades of dedicated investment required, takes an obsessed player to accomplish.

WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR? then...

ME? Nah, I'll just play here when I'm down, bored or tired, a few games every other night, while enjoying my music. Don't let me stop you though!
Some semi random quotes:

ELO = Ego
In the land of the blind, one-eyed is King
