Finally! I've always thought the mobile app needed an update, as it was behind - so I'm glad it's happening! excited for the revamp!

Considering that application was pretty not much user friendly, it's good news.

I would like to see new characters in the future. To include the official FIDE figures as 2D graphics for example would be something;-) And maybe a wenge wood look as a new board design

The app is great but always felt stalled compared to web.

I know many people will have many requests for the app, but I'm happy with anything that comes :-)
Personally what I miss the most in the app is the possibility to create/edit studies.

the app on android works as expected and a new version is not something i would use
flutter is developed by google and gives google hooks into your use'rs information, harming the lichess' ethos free and open
i guess i'll just have to stop using lichess too ffs

That's absurd and obviously false. Do you have any source for this?
