FM Jiri Soukup

My name is Jiri Soukup, I am 37 years old and I am a fide master with actuall rating 2398. I really like chess, love the game, and I think, that as a player, I have already reached my peak, so I want to be usefull as a coach. During more than 30 years of playing, I learned many about chess and it is time to share it with people interrested in.

Master of Bohemia U14 in 1996,
Many times regional champion in all chess paces,
2x champion of international Karlovy Vary OPEN.

I am coaching a group of children in our club actually for some years, I apply the methodology of the Czech chess federation. I launched a youtube channel "souky chess", where I analyse the grandmaster games and show some strategical and tactical ideas in chess games.

Chess commentator, that is something I dream about :-)

I love tactics. While strategy is something you have to feel, tactics needs to be brush up.

It is definitely individual and depends on skills and needs of each player. I would like to use skype, e-mail and play training games.
