I have reached the 2000 rating in puzzles

Usually your lichess puzzles ratinh is at least 200 points higher than your regular rating and rarely more than 400 points. So there is some kind of correlation it's just not 1:1.
I mean, puzzle racer is a nice competitive game.
You can easily compare puzzle storm results - similarly, easily shared puzzle streak results.
But puzzle rating seems just a little off - afterall, you can "farm" with the daily or with easy puzzles.
Then again, I mainly play blitz.

You can't farm easy puzzles, Lichess won't give you anything for puzzles where you followed a link.
As for daily puzzles, it doesn't really work unless you're under 2200 or so. I've done nothing but daily puzzles since March and I'm down 100 points, due to the fact that I lose 60-80 points when I get one wrong.

It very much depends on how much you do of each. If you only do puzzles, you can get a rating more than 1000 above you're bullet/blitz rating. I've gotten to 2652, twice (lol), but my highest bullet rating is 1625 (from 3.5 years ago).
If I starting playing again I could maybe get to 1700 or 1800, I'm definitely better than I was, but I'd have zero chance of getting to 2500, I seriously doubt I could get to 2000.

I've never studied openings ( which are completely irrelevant to chess puzzles).
