Notification of friend playing a game

Hello,

It is very hard to know when someone you're following (a "friend") is currently playing a game.

The easiest way seems to be by hovering your mouse over their name at the bottom of your screen in your friends section and see if a chessboard appears along with their information.

Do you think it would be possible to come up with some type of notification of some sort? Maybe an icon beside their username (like a chess piece or something) that would let us know that they're currently playing?

Another cool feature would be the possibility to follow the games somebody is playing without having to do it manually for each different game.

I hate to agree because it tends to kill off any chance of it ever happening :D but good ideas...
