Suggestions

First of all many tanks to Thibault for founding a lichess.org. You did a great work. I really mean it. liches.org is awesome!

Suggestions:

1. Big chess board is essential. Right now, chess board is about 50% height of my screen (1920x1080). Chess board needs to be scalable. If I had a 100% of height that would be 4 times bigger chess board and much better perspective.
//i know, zoom in is doing a job but it's not elegant

2. [minor suggestion] Fullscreen. Would be nice.

3. [minor suggestion] Captured pieces are unnecessary. Just a bunch of pieces with no much info. Instead should to be advantage pieces (just like on chesscube.com). Where you can fast see how you standing materially.

A resizable board will be coming soon. Hopefully not too long from now.

I like suggestion number 3 in particular.

I would also like to see the moves played while the game is still on.

I agree that 3 is a good idea. Whenever I look at the pieces off the board, it's only to count them and see who's materially ahead.

I like having the captured pieces displayed. It's be easier if they were ordered by value (either ascending or descending) instead of captured order, but whatever--I still like having the captured pieces shown.

What is the purpose of captured pieces?
Except to compare them and see who is standing better.

Eh, I'm fine with nothing about material being shown. Showing captured pieces is a lot of clutter and a bad way to evaluate material standings. Always compare pieces on the board, not off :)

Also, in OTB chess, you don't get to have a machine that shows you you have a rook and 2 minors for a queen and a pawn. Sure, it's fairly trivial to figure out, but I see people make mistakes all the time. Best to get some practice at it :)

There is so many pieces on the board to compare. It's a much faster to see that in advantage pieces.

Using your logic we don't need captured pieces at all. Everything is on the board.
